Woho…second day of Toronto-show last night. We love the Toronto-people. Real proper supportive fans. On the whole so many amazing shows in a row. It’s hard to pick favorites.
The outdoors show in Madison was fantastic, so was the small shows at Schubas in Chicago. But still….every night has been great. Mineapolis (First Avenue is such a great venue), Columbus (another fabulous venue; Newport Music Hall, a pleasure to play) etc, etc. Did I mention we really love our audience? You’re amazing!
Detroit was superfun too. This guy have five reasons why and I couldn’t agree more, Ben the cabdriver made our day: http://www.post-rockist.com/2011/09/03/peter-bjorn-and-john-at-the-magic-stick-detroit-top-5-awesomes/.
Talking of top-5-lists, you know this is the “All You Can Eat Tour” right?
I did this food “high-five” for The Boston Globe; though I don’t think I said it was “really” easy to find good fish and veggie-dishes, more “pretty” easy; which is true:

You know we earlier did this foodie-playlist for Rolling Stone? (http://www.rollingstone.com/music/news/listen-peter-bjorn-and-johns-foodie-playlist-20110824)
We tried to take that a step further by making a whole Spotify-playlist with food songs. It’s turned into this gigantic vast monster; all you can eat indeed.
We tried to use it as intromusic before our shows, but the internet has prevented us. Anyway here it is;

It carries a lot of surprises. I had no idea whatsoever that Elvis “the Pelvis” had a swinging track called “Smörgåsbord”. Talk about weird. What we did know of course is that Booker T. & The Mg’s apart from maybe beeing the best ever-back-up-band were gigantic foodies, making them the most featured artists on this list. Enjoy!
