gimme some bad news

Hi.
I´m very, very sorry to say that I cant play drums at the moment.
Went to the hospital in Toronto yesterday and according to the doctor I have something called “rotator cuff tendonitis”.
He forbid me to keep playing and I am now on some medicine and I just hope that this thing will be over soon.

I almost cant lift my right arm which makes it impossible to play like 80% of our songs.

It is extremely frustrating and I’m very sad that we had to cancel our gig in Montreal and that we have to cancel our gig tomorrow in Boston.

Gonna see a “sports-doctor” tomorrow morning and hopefully get some tips on how to get better as fast as possible.

Our 11 first gigs on this tour was probably the best gigs we have ever done so that makes this shit even more annoying.

We will make up for the cancelled gigs but at the moment we dont know when.

all the best
john

John. You are in incredible drummer. I have heard it said that most drummers are in equal physical shape as marathon runners. I have seen you in action and it is serious business. Got to see you guys in Boston in May, had tkts to todays’s cancelled Boston show and hoping you are well enough for New Haven, CT which I also have tickets for. YOu guys have had a heavy duty gig schedule for sure. Not surprised your body is freaking out. Take good care of yourself!! Hope to see you guys again. Your talent and music adds enjoyment to my life and many others. thanks for what you do so well!!

John – I hope you are feeling better. Any chance you are considering cancellation for the DC show tomorow? Saw you guys last year and the show was excellent. Looking forward to seeing you guys play some new tunes from your new (and my new favorite) album.

So sorry to hear this, I saw you guys in Detroit and LOVED the show! I was already a fan, but much more so now! John, I hope you get better soon so everyone else can get to enjoy PB&J’s talent …. but sometimes the only thing that works is rest – best of luck whatever the case. You guys are great, can’t wait to see you live again.
